Aquatic Operations Coordinator Role
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Operations Leader to build and lead a passionate, professional and highly engaged operations team.
* Ensure the on-site team operates effectively to deliver a safe, patron-friendly facility in accordance with operational practices, contractual requirements, quality systems and industry guidelines.
* Act on patron feedback and work to reduce any negative perception of site operations.
* Deliver and drive the physical appearance of the centre through strong contractor management relationships.
* Maintain a strong focus on occupational health and safety (OH&S) processes and management systems and comply with legislative regulatory standards.
* Work across multiple sites.
* Assist the Aquatic Operations Manager in investigating accidents and incidents.
* Monitor OH, risk and environment performance and initiate actions to improve performance.
* Implement hazard and environment inspections, risk assessments, risk controls and corrective actions, maintaining all records.
* Manage key projects and prepare required reports.
* Maintain high customer satisfaction scores in line with industry KPIs.
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in OH&S, minimum of 2 years' experience in an aquatic operations environment and demonstrated ability to lead a team. They must possess strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport and positive relationships with staff and contractors.
