Mandatory Requirements
* Entitlement to work within Australia
* A Police Check that is current and within 12 months of the issue date
* Provision of valid Working with Children Check
* Provision of an NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with Secretary, Department of Health Directions
* Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (HLTSS00030 or equivalent)
* Demonstrated knowledge of reprocessing functions within a CSSD
* Experience with perioperative instrumentation in a Victorian hospital
* Greater than 4 years' experience in a sterilisation unit
* Sound understanding of sterilisation and infection prevention principles
* Ability to follow detailed procedures with high attention to accuracy
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Problem‐solving skills and capacity to identify and report issues proactively
* Ability to work safely under pressure in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment
* Administrative level experience with management of instrument tracking systems, T Doc
Desirable
* Experience with electronic tracking systems (e.g., T-Doc, or equivalent)
* Knowledge of ISO 13485, AS/NZS 5369 compliance programs, and quality frameworks
* Well established experience with Atherton, Medivator and Sterrad sterilisation systems
