Heavy Diesel Mechanic – Agricultural Equipment
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well‑established operation servicing and maintaining a range of agricultural machinery and equipment. This is a permanent, full‑time position suited to a mechanic with hands‑on experience in agricultural or mobile plant environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, diagnose, and repair agricultural equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and related machinery
* Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
* Perform engine, transmission, and component repairs
* Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately
* Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and manufacturer standards
Skills and Experience
* Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)
* Proven experience working on agricultural equipment or mobile plant
* Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
* Ability to diagnose faults and work independently
* Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
* Clear communication skills in English
Additional Requirements
* Current Australian driver's licence
* Ability to work in a regional or agricultural environment
* Willingness to support seasonal workloads and breakdowns, when required
