Swan Active Beechboro is on the lookout for an outstanding Group Fitness Team Leader to join our fabulous team on a permanent part-time basis of 50 hours per fortnight.
As the Group Fitness Team Leader, you'll be responsible for developing and leading our group fitness programs for all ages and abilities, driving membership growth and retention, building and leading a dynamic fitness team, and supporting community health and wellbeing.
Key Accountabilities
Create a welcoming environment that is inclusive and meets all fitness levels and abilities.
Foster effective and genuine relationships with the group fitness team and customers by helping people to connect with one another.
Effectively design, manage and deliver an effective group fitness timetable that meets the community's needs and promotes continuous improvement.
Supervise the group fitness team, manage administration, presentation, cleanliness and maintenance of the fitness studios and equipment.
Assist the Health and Fitness Supervisor to recruit, train, develop and lead a fun and dedicated team of Group Fitness instructors.
Ensure all Group Fitness employees are well trained in providing services that are safe and professionally delivered in accordance with Swan Active and City of Swan requirements.
About you
Qualifications/certificates relevant to a variety of fitness class disciplines.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, e.g. CERT III in Fitness or equivalent licences, certificates or degrees.
Fitness Instruction accreditation.
2-3 years industry experience.
Experience supervising fitness class instructors.
Experience in development and implementation of fitness class programmes.
Experience instructing group fitness classes.
Current Senior First Aid certificate.
A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.
Ability to work early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
About working with us
The salary for this position will be from $68,****** to $74,****** per annum pro rata, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
