About the role:

Reporting to the Director, Allied Health & Child Development, the Allied Health Manager, Women & Children is responsible for the leadership, coordination and oversight of allied health service delivery and outcomes across the Women's & Children's Division.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading multidisciplinary allied health teams to deliver safe, high‑quality and family‑centred care across the Women's & Children's Division
* Driving the planning, development and evaluation of integrated, evidence‑based allied health services to improve access, experience and outcomes
* Managing and allocating human, financial and physical resources to meet service performance, quality and safety targets
* Embedding continuous improvement, quality, safety and risk management aligned with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
* Fostering a positive, inclusive and high‑performing culture that supports workforce capability, professional development and innovation
* Collaborating with senior leaders, discipline leads and clinical teams to strengthen interdisciplinary and integrated models of care
* Leading and contributing to clinical research, service redesign and complex projects relevant to women's and children's health

About you:

You are an experienced allied health leader with a strong commitment to integrated, person‑ and family‑centred care for women and children. You bring a collaborative leadership style, sound clinical judgment and a passion for service improvement.

You will demonstrate:

* Significant senior clinical experience within a healthcare organisation
* Proven experience in a management or leadership role, including workforce, resource and service management
* Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams through change, service development and innovation
* Highly developed communication, negotiation, problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use evidence and data to inform decisions and service improvement
* Demonstrated experience reviewing work practices, evaluating outcomes and achieving performance targets
* A high level of professional accountability, integrity, ethical practice and resilience in complex clinical and interpersonal environments
* Commitment to culturally responsive practice and improving access and outcomes for Aboriginal women, children and families
