Porter Liquor Clarence is currently recruiting for a casual Bottle Shop Attendant. Do you have availability across 7 days, have liquor and wine knowledge and enjoy talking with customers to provide amazing customer service? About Us Porters Liquor offer a wide range of products, from fine wines to rare spirits and exclusive craft beers, Porters staff are passionate about knowing the story behind their range and educating customers to find their next beverage. In this role you will… Deliver knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging service to customers. Educate and assist customers on liquor and wine selections. Stay informed and continuously learn about current and emerging liquor and wine trends. Ensure the store is looking in tip top order, including stocking shelves, general cleaning and updating promotional materials. Handle stock movement, including some heavy lifting. Operate the POS (point of sale) and ticketing systems accurately to process sales and transactions. The right fit will Bring previous retail experience; bottle shop experience is highly desirable. Hold a valid forklift license. Be a team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Handle customer request and situations with confidence, maturity and professionalism. Have a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA - mandatory) and Responsible Service of Tobacco (RST - willing to obtain) Have availability across 7 days including evening shifts.
