Disputes and Insolvency Paralegal Opportunity
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting solicitors in the team with tasks related to litigation, including drafting pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence. This will involve managing timelines for litigated work, tracking deadlines, milestones, and ensuring completion of tasks.
* Assisting in the preparation of court documents and filings;
* Conducting legal research to inform case strategies;
* Managing and organizing case files, ensuring that all documents and information are up-to-date and accessible;
* Communicating with clients and external parties, such as courts, solicitors, and other stakeholders;
* General file management, including filing, bringing up, opening, and archiving files;
* Contributing to and assisting with other general administrative/secretarial tasks as required;
