Assisting skilled tradespeople is a key component of this role. We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to provide mechanical support on plant equipment in Kalgoorlie. This position involves working Monday to Friday with 10 hour days, supporting the maintenance and servicing of plant equipment.
Job Responsibilities
* Perform general housekeeping and cleaning tasks in the workshop environment
* Support tradespeople in their duties, including Diesel Fitters, LV Fitters, Boilermakers, Electricians, and Auto Electricians
* Clean equipment using high-pressure washing techniques
* RUN parts and supplies between work sites and the workshop for efficient maintenance and repair operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or Labourer is highly valued
* Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of plant equipment is essential
* A valid Australian manual driver's license and current first aid and CPR qualifications are also required
