Primary Teacher Role
This role involves planning and delivering an engaging and innovative Visual Arts program across Year 2 – Year 6.
Responsibilities include teaching skills and techniques in ceramics, painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, textiles, and digital art.
You will also use assessment data to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching programs, set targets, and inform planning in Visual Arts for students across the school.
Coordinating Visual Arts Exhibitions
As a Primary Teacher, you will strongly coordinate Visual Arts school exhibitions and develop links with community groups and external artists to enhance the school's Arts program.
Key Qualifications:
* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
