Road Maintenance Workers – Kyneton
Candler Macleod Group, in partnership with a leading road maintenance provider, is seeking experienced Road Maintenance Workers for a casual role based at the Kyneton Depot. This is a full‑time hours position (Monday–Friday) with overtime opportunities.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for servicing roads throughout Northern and Western Victoria, carrying out maintenance and construction tasks, and responding to emergency incidents.
Key Duties
* Inspecting the road network and rectifying hazards and defects
* Compacting, leveling, and spreading materials to form roads
* Routine road maintenance and obstruction removal
* Operating trucks, power tools, and machinery
* Participating in emergency response efforts, including after‑hours call‑outs and potential travel across Victoria
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Traffic Management Certificate
* Ability to pass pre‑employment checks, including a medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, and police check
* Basic proficiency in using tablets or mobile devices for reporting
Requirements
Essential
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence
* Traffic Management Certificate
* Ability to pass pre‑employment checks, including a medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, and police check
* Basic proficiency in using tablets or mobile devices for reporting
Preferred
* Plant operator competency
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Previous experience in a similar role
