About the Role
We're partnering with a specialist technology consultancy that supports organisations across Australia in modernising and scaling their cloud platforms, digital capabilities, and data & AI environments.
This opportunity suits someone early in their consulting or engineering career who wants exposure across both pre-sales and delivery, with a clear pathway toward Solution Architecture or Senior Consulting.
You'll spend time understanding customer challenges, shaping solutions, supporting new business opportunities, and delivering hands-on work on customer accounts - developing into a trusted technical advisor.
This is a hybrid role: part solution design, part pre-sales, part delivery.
What You'll Be Exposed To
* Client meetings, discovery workshops and pre-sales conversations
* Solution design and architecture fundamentals
* Shaping proposals, roadmaps, tenders and delivery plans
* Working across multiple cloud platforms (experience across two is ideal)
* Hands-on delivery across:
* Cloud infrastructure
* Digital and integration platforms
* Data, analytics and AI solutions
* Collaboration with senior architects, consultants and leadership
Engagements span project delivery, customer augmentation and managed services, offering genuine variety and fast development.
What You'll Do
* Translate business problems into technical solutions
* Support solution design, scoping and high-level architecture
* Contribute to proposals, statements of work and pre-sales cycles
* Participate in discovery and solution-shaping workshops
* Work closely with senior technical leaders to learn best practice
* Support delivery teams when needed - documentation, design clarification and hands-on assistance
* Continually build capability across cloud services, data & AI platforms, integration patterns, governance and modern engineering practices

* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Confidence engaging with customers and stakeholders
* A curious, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability
* Genuine interest in cloud platforms, data and AI
* Willingness to support pre-sales and new business activity
* Comfortable with non-glamorous but essential work (BAU, foundational tasks, documentation)
Nice-to-Haves
* Exposure to cloud platforms (any major provider)
* Some experience in engineering, analytics, software or integration concepts
* Ability to communicate technical ideas visually (diagrams, whiteboarding)
* Previous consulting or customer-facing experience
