Cargo Sales Manager – Turkish Airlines Cargo (Dedicated GSA Role | Sydney)

We are seeking a driven and experienced Cargo Sales Manager to join our team in Sydney, representing Turkish Airlines Cargo under an exclusive GSA (General Sales Agent) agreement. This is a dedicated Turkish Airlines Cargo role, focused solely on promoting and managing the cargo sales operation for one of the world's leading and fastest‑growing air cargo carriers. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales strategies to promote Turkish Airlines Cargo services across NSW and wider Australia.
* Achieve and exceed defined monthly and quarterly KPIs:
o Revenue growth
o Tonnage uplift
o Market share expansion
o Customer retention and acquisition
o Field visit and client meeting targets
* Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, consolidators, and logistics partners.
* Manage and lead the cargo customer service and operations teams with a focus on performance, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
* Set clear goals for team members and lead by example in both sales execution and service delivery.
* Ensure smooth coordination between sales, operations, and customer service to maintain high service standards.
* Provide regular market intelligence, sales forecasts, and competitor analysis to both GSA and Turkish Airlines Cargo regional management.
* Represent Turkish Airlines Cargo at industry events, trade shows, and client engagements across the region.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in air cargo sales, ideally in an airline or GSA environment.
* Strong understanding of international air freight processes, pricing, and commercial strategy.
* Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed KPIs and lead high‑performing teams.
* Prior experience in managing customer service and/or cargo operations teams is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
* Well‑connected within the Australian freight and logistics community.
* Familiarity with IATA, CASS, and CRM systems preferred.
* Must hold full Australian work rights and be able to travel for business as required.
