As a mid level Data Analyst at Easy Agile, you’ll play a key role in helping our team transform data into clear, actionable insights that support decision making across the business. You’ll work with our existing data models and pipelines, dig into key business questions and design dashboards that make complex information easy to understand. You’ll collaborate with teams like Product, Finance, Marketing and Leadership to bring data to life, helping others see the story behind the numbers. What you’ll do: Investigate and answer complex business questions through data analysis Build analytical views on top of our Kimball-style data models using dbt and Snowflake Design interactive dashboards in Metabase (and future BI tools) that make insights accessible to everyone across the company Investigate data quality issues and work with the data team, stakeholders and external parties to resolve discrepancies Partner with cross functional teams to understand their reporting needs and deliver self-service solutions Translate business requirements into analytical approaches, clearly communicating findings and recommendations Help improve data literacy across the company by running education sessions, providing training on self service analytics tools and supporting teams to interpret and act on insights Document your methodologies and continuously improve data and reporting assets About you: You’re curious by nature and love digging into data to find the “why” behind the numbers You have strong analytical skills and experience working with SQL, Python and BI tools You’re confident with data visualisation and know how to present findings in ways that are clear and compelling You have experience working with dimensional data models and understand concepts like fact and dimension tables You’re proficient in dbt and comfortable building and maintaining models that support robust, scalable analytics You apply strong data visualisation and design principles and are confident using BI tools effectively You get energy from collaborating with others, asking great questions and tailoring your communication to suit your audience You’re detail oriented and care about data accuracy, testing and maintaining data trust You’re always looking for ways to improve how things work and enjoy contributing to a culture of continual learning We’ll be excited if you: Have experience working in a SaaS business or with Atlassian tools Have experience with advanced data visualisation techniques Are familiar with basic machine learning concepts, predictive modeling and statistical techniques To support you at work and play, here are the fantastic benefits and perks you’ll enjoy at Easy Agile - Unique and generous Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP). - Flexible working options (because we value outcomes over output). - Four paid volunteer days a year to dedicate to your favourite cause. - An annual learning allowance of $5,000 to help you up-level your skills. - Bi-annual hackathon days to explore new ideas. - 1.5% in additional superannuation contributions per annum. - Company-funded parental leave (20 weeks full pay for the primary caregiver and 6 weeks for the secondary caregiver). - Summer sessions where you get half days off on Fridays (Dec-Feb) to enjoy the amazing weather as you please. - $2000 to put towards your home-office fit out (if you choose to work from home). - Team and company off-sites to invest in collaboration and connection. - Opportunities to travel overseas to conferences to learn more about our customers and agile.
