Additional Information
* These roles are Permanent Part‑time, 40‑60hrs/fortnight
* Applications close Thursday 29th January 2026
* As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
About this Work Area
As a Sales Co‑worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
* Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
* Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA product range; and actively learning about their features and benefits.
* Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.
* Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
* Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
As a Sales Co‑worker you are
* Passionate about home furnishings and appreciator of quality focusing on maintaining a high level of product knowledge and sharing the IKEA product range with customers.
* A strong customer‑focused mindset, always striving to deliver a memorable shopping experience.
* A 'Togetherness' mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment and manage your own tasks.
* Clear and concise communication skills, a keen eye for detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
* Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA IT systems and tools.
* A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting.
