We are a growing light gauge steel frame manufacturer based in Loganholme, and due to continued expansion we are seeking an in-house Sales Estimator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations for a wide range of customers from simple shed jobs through to full new-home builds for our builder clients. You will be supported by an experienced team with strong construction knowledge to ensure you have everything you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate estimates based on client-supplied information and construction drawings
* Read and interpret construction plans in detail to identify all required components
* Input estimates into our in-house software to generate formal quotations
* Follow up with customers regarding the quotes you have issued
* Work closely with our internal team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and great customer service
About You
This role would ideally suit:
* A builder looking to step back from site work, or
* A carpenter wanting to transition off the tools into an office-based estimating role
You will also need:
* Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans
* Experience with Bluebeam and WorkGuru (highly regarded but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate estimating
