Hames Sharley is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our Perth Studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to become a key member of our interiors team, contributing to a diverse range of projects both locally and across Australia.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Motivated to work collaboratively with a national team
Lead the design process from concept design through to completion
Develop and present design concepts, spatial planning and material palettes which ensuring design excellence
A problem-solving mindset that can drive design development and translate that into documentation outcomes
Lead documentation, ensuring high-quality detailing and technical accuracy.
Manage client relationships, and able to act as a key point of contact throughout the project
Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors
Oversee and provide guidance to emerging designers
Stay ahead of industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices
Foster a collaborative environment that rewards professionalism and growth
To succeed in this role, you will be comfortable both leading design outcomes (client facing) and driving delivery (strong revit documentation) across large-scale interior solutions within complex architectural projects.
You should have the below skillset:
7 + years’ of experience
A degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
Proficiency in a variety of design software (e.g., Revit, Enscape, Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp). Revit is essential.
Experience in managing timelines, budgets, and project workflows.
Proficiency in scheduling of FF&E
Competence in inspecting sites and ensuring design quality.
Knowledge of current industry standards and codes
