About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Operations Coordinator to join our team. AEMO’s Operations Division is responsible for operating the power system amidst unprecedented transformation. You will provide high-quality administrative support to the team, capable of working with minimal supervision, managing time effectively, and proactively completing tasks within deadlines.
What You Will Be Doing

Providing senior leadership support, including diary management, email triage, and escalation.
Managing committee papers.
Organising travel arrangements.
Liaising with government offices, public and private sector agencies, and stakeholders.
Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, and action items.
Supporting department teams to meet KPIs aligned with AEMO’s corporate plan.
Providing administrative support such as processing expenses and invoices, formatting reports, creating purchase orders, and maintaining SharePoint sites.

What You Will Bring To The Role

Extensive experience as an Administration Officer, PA, or Team Coordinator in a corporate environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat.
Strong calendar and diary management skills.
Ability to prioritize effectively considering internal and external factors.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and in teams.
Problem-solving skills and initiative.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
