Our client is a Progressive Engineering/Hydraulics company and are looking to appoint the services of an experienced Tube Fitter/Hydraulics Technician to join their Naval Base project on a casual
6-week assignment with the potential to be extended. This position has an immediate start available.
Responsibilities
* Hydraulic tube fitting and pipework installations on site.
* Assist on-site and workshop staff in all maintenance and the rebuilding hydraulic pumps, motor, cylinders, and hydraulic related equipment.
* Reading & interpreting schematic diagrams to effectively troubleshoot problems on a wide range of industrial machines & equipment.
* Use test equipment to methodically isolate and diagnose faults.
* Ensure all work is carried out in safe manner, complying with all HSE policies and procedures.
* Reporting into the Site Manager.
To be considered for this role you must have
* Australian Recognised Trade certificate – Mechanical Fitter/Hydraulics with Tube Fitting experience.
* Experience in hydraulic troubleshooting.
* The ability to read and intrepid hydraulic schematics.
* Strong team worker.
* Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and customers alike.
* Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug/Alcohol screen.
* Available for an immediate start.
