About the role This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Financial Accounting Team at a pivotal moment of growth and transition. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial accounts, contributing directly to the integrity and efficiency of our reporting processes As part of a dynamic team, you'll be stepping into a position during a maximum term contract covering parental leave. This role offers a strong foundation for professional development and the chance to work closely with experienced finance professionals in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Duties Support core financial operations, including processing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and maintaining the bank accounts. Deliver timely and accurate reporting, contributing to daily cash flow preparation, audit support, and external compliance requirements (FBT, ABS, etc.). Provide responsive financial assistance, managing Finance Help Desk queries, backing up AR functions, and maintaining key registers (gift cards, bank guarantees). Engage effectively across teams, demonstrating strong communication skills and a customer -focused mindset when liaising with financial and non-financial stakeholders. Skills and Requirements Progressing toward CA/CPA qualification, demonstrating commitment to professional development and technical excellence. Strong team collaboration and independent work ethic, with proven ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure. Solid experience in financial reporting, including balance sheet preparation and account reconciliations. Continuous improvement mindset, actively seeking ways to enhance processes and drive efficiency. Proficient in financial systems and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Great Plains.
