MJD Recruitment is working with a highly respected Australian law firm as they appoint an experienced Legal Assistant into their Disputes team. This opportunity sits alongside a newly appointed Partner who has built their career within the firm and is now expanding their practice. It’s an exciting time to join, as you’ll play a key role supporting the next stage of growth within the team. You’ll work across a variety of litigation matters, supporting the smooth running of the practice while collaborating closely with a motivated and high-performing group of lawyers. The Day to Day Managing diaries, meetings and travel coordination Preparing, formatting and managing litigation documents and briefs Supporting billing cycles, expenses and financial administration Maintaining files and ensuring compliance with matter processes Liaising with clients, barristers and internal stakeholders Assisting with team coordination, events and practice management tasks This is a fast-moving environment where organisation, attention to detail and confidence managing competing priorities will set you up for success. About You To be successful in this position you will bring previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, ideally within Litigation or Disputes.
