About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nominated Supervisor to join our team at Kindy Korner Children Services' in Unanderra, NSW. As the Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of our early childhood education and care centre, ensuring the highest quality of care and education for the children in our community.
What you'll be doing
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staff management, program planning, and implementation of policies and procedures
* Ensure the centre adheres to all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards
* Lead and mentor the teaching team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
* Foster strong relationships with families, the local community, and other stakeholders
* Continuously evaluate and improve the centre's practices to meet the evolving needs of children and families
What we're looking for
* A Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Nominated Supervisor or in a senior leadership role within the childcare sector is referred but not mandatory
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of early childhood educators
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families and the community
* Excellent organisational and problem‐solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
* Thorough knowledge of relevant childcare legislation, regulations, and quality standards
* Passion for providing high‐quality early childhood education and care
* Current Australian work rights are required to apply for this position
