We are seeking motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic professionals to join our school as a Classroom Support Officer. Working closely with the Inclusive Education Team and classroom teachers, you will play a key role in supporting students in our classrooms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values collaboration, inclusivity, and student learning.
**Accountabilities**
- Assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students including the use technology and learning support activities.
- Monitor the progress of students and identify learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Improve student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services.
- Supervise students on specific learning activities.
- Document observation notes, intervention programs and assist in the collation and preparation of classroom materials.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
