About Our Occupational Therapy Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated occupational therapist to join our team. As an occupational therapist, you will work with individuals with varying abilities and needs, providing support and advice on adaptations to their environment.
* You will assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity to perform daily living tasks.
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals and develop personalized plans to help individuals achieve their goals.
* Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including speech therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Assess participants in various settings, including homes, schools, and workplaces.
* Provide recommendations for adaptations to the environment to improve accessibility and independence.
* Develop and implement treatment plans to help individuals achieve their goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certified occupational therapist with current registration with the relevant professional association.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and adapting to changing situations.
