Laboratory Technician – Eurofins, Girraween, NSW, AU
Job Description
Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:
* Sub-sampling of test samples.
* Operation and maintenance of test equipment.
* Receipt and storage of test samples including logging in to the master schedule when required.
* Housekeeping, including daily laboratory cleaning and maintenance.
* Performing analyses as per instructions of the Laboratory Manager or SPCs in accordance with stipulated test procedures.
* Preparation of stock standard solutions.
Qualifications
* Candidates that have completed a Diploma or certificate in chemistry or equivalent will be preferred.
* Previous experience would be advantageous; however, training will be provided to the suitable candidate.
* Knowledge of standard office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel would be preferred.
