About the Opportunity
We are seeking an impactful individual to join ClearCompany as a Student Placement Adviser. The role entails:
1. Seeking placement opportunities in WA businesses that can further develop university student's skills and provide businesses with the internship support they need.
2. Delivering outstanding workforce results for our clients and improving graduate outcomes for students.
3. Utilising recruitment strategies to pair talented students with businesses across WA.
4. Developing and maintaining relationships in the business community and increase the number and variety of WIL placements offered to students.
5. Predominantly working with Science and Engineering students, with the possibility of expansion to other faculties in the future.
This role is a part-time position (0.6FTE), based at Curtin University (Bentley Campus).
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
1. An understanding of Work Integrated Learning and vocational placements.
2. Practical knowledge of marketing and promotional methods to engage audiences that include employers and students.
3. Knowledge of recruitment practices.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication.
5. The ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders.
6. Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
7. The ability to self motivate and work autonomously within a small on-site client team.
8. A Bachelor/tertiary degree in a relevant discipline.
9. A current WA driver's licence.
10. National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
