Job Title: Associate Director Planning
Lead a Senior Leadership Team in Health Service Delivery across the District
Combine Strategic Influence with Hands-on Service Design to Drive Community Health and Wellbeing.
Oversee the Planning Unit, Developing and Designing Services Responding to Changing Community Needs
Provide Strategic Advice, Set Direction, and Support Evidence-based Decision-making within the Strategy, Planning and Research Directorate
Collaborate Closely with Stakeholders Internally (Executive Team, Senior Managers, Clinicians) and Externally (Senior Leaders across NSW Health, Government Agencies, Service Providers, Community Representatives)

Key Responsibilities:
* Establish Strong Relationships with Executive, Senior Managers, and Clinicians throughout the District
* Confers with External Stakeholders, Including Senior Managers within NSW Health, Government Organisations, Clients, and Service Providers
* Ensures Compliance with Legislative and Operational Requirements, Staying up-to-date with Leading Practice Initiatives and Reforms

Requirements:
* Masters in a Related Field (such as Health Services Planning or Health Services Management) or Significant Related Experience
* Extensive Experience in Health Services Planning at an LHD, State or Regional Level, with the Ability to Foster and Maintain Positive Relationships with Stakeholders
* Effective and Proven Leadership and Staff Management Skills, including the Ability to Develop, Direct, and Lead a Committed Team
* High-level Analytical Skills, Statistical Understanding, and Ability to Provide High-level Advice regarding Resources Allocation, Policy, and Models of Health Service Delivery
* Demonstrated Experience in Corporate-level Strategic Planning
* Ability to Possess an Australian C-Class Driver's License (including P1 or P2)
