The Role
As a supervisor in the Dairy Food Plant you will lead and direct shift activities within the Balcatta production facility on days and afternoon shifts ensuring production and products meet specifications in a safe and efficient manner using optimal levels of human resource and materials while producing orders on time.
Role Responsibilities
* Apply lean manufacturing principles to meet or exceed line efficiency and performance targets.
* Promote and actively support all continuous improvement programs.
* Ensure compliance with food and weights & measures standards.
* Work in accordance with quality and environmental measurements e.g. ISO 9000 QMS Food Safety Systems (HACCP) RMA.
* Implement and monitor the Company's Quality programme to meet legislative industry and best practice standards.
* Set clear expectations for teams provide resources monitor progress and take remedial action when necessary.
* Implement revised job level systems to reflect required competencies for equipment operation.
Requirements:
* Extensive supervisory experience.
* Experience in FMCG environments.
