Job Description

Epworth HealthCare is looking for a Grade 2 Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our rehabilitation team on a casual basis. The psychology team at Epworth has a long history of providing high quality care to adults across our rehabilitation services. With over 25 psychologists, you will be joining a vibrant and dynamic team, committed to clinical excellence and continual professional growth.

This casual position, provides cover for staff across our three rehabilitation sites (Richmond, Hawthorn and Camberwell). The successful candidate will provide clinical neuropsychology services to inpatients and outpatients, with a focus on traumatic brain injury, stroke and other neurological conditions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for your patients.

This role will suit someone who is open to learning, is adaptable, and able to build working relationships quickly and provides the opportunity to build your knowledge and skills through working across a range of sites, teams, and client groups.

You will make an impact by:

* Delivering effective and evidence-based neuropsychology assessments and interventions for patients which contribute to their health and well-being
* Working collaboratively with other team members to support client goals and functional outcomes in a multidisciplinary context
* Maintaining appropriate standards of practice relating to patient admission, assessment, treatment, family liaison and discharge planning
* Communicating effectively with patients, families and colleagues

To be successful in this role you will have:

* Endorsement or be on a path towards endorsement in (or on a pathway to endorsement) in Clinical Neuropsychology
* Established neuropsychological assessment, feedback and formulation skills, preferably in adults with traumatic and acquired brain injuries
* An interest, and preferably experience, in delivering interventions for people with brain injury and neurological conditions. Relevant training and support will be provided
* Capacity to work at different sites and with different clinical teams
* Experience in a hospital setting is desirable
* A collaborative and compassionate approach to team work and patient care
* Capacity to meet patient-related key performance indicators (KPIs), contributing to quality care and service outcomes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

* A Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Neuropsychology
* General Psychologist registration with AHPRA with endorsement (or on a pathway to endorsement) in Clinical Neuropsychology
