About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to drive our business expansion and diversification objectives as a Business Development Manager/Engineer.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing projects, fostering long-term client relationships, and achieving commercial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of the civil engineering, geotechnical, or structural engineering sectors, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
In addition, you should have a proven track record in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management, with a focus on driving growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
* Uncover new business opportunities and cultivate existing ones to drive growth and success.
* Forge and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, including project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and senior executives.
* Champion the company's products and services, showcasing their value and benefits.
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and revenue.
* Respond to tenders, RFQs, and project inquiries with compelling proposals and innovative technical solutions.
Requirements
* A university degree in civil, geotechnical, or structural engineering, construction, or project management.
* Proven track record in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within the civil engineering, geotechnical, geosynthetic, or mining sectors.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities to convey ideas and solutions effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset to tackle challenges.
