Casual/Temporary Disability Support Worker

Ace Care Services is a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider offering disability support services to people living with a permanent or significant disability. We are looking for experienced Disability Support Worker rockstars to join our growing services, reporting to our Operations Team and working with our participants/clients.
This role is ideal for a self‑motivated, organized and flexible individual.
Responsibilities
* Weekly attendance and providing support services to clients
* Creating a positive client experience and adhering to NDIS compliance requirements
* Maintain a firm understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct, Incident Management and Quality and Safeguards practice standards
* Handling client issues/incident reporting in a timely and professional manner
* Understanding client NDIS Plans, goals and Care Plans to ensure shift tasks are met
* Providing personal care, manual handling and medication administration
* Transporting clients to appointments and community access as per client requirements
* Supporting a client‑centric culture and proactive approach
* Contributing to process documentation and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications & Requirements
* Valid NDIS screening check
* Background or experience in nursing or aged care
* Evidence of experience in the disability sector and NDIS
* Fluent and strong verbal and written communication skills
* Current First Aid & CPR certification
* Valid driver's licence and your own car with comprehensive insurance
* Current Police Check
* Working With Children Check
* COVID‑19 Vaccination Certificate
* NDIS Module Certificate
