A global eCommerce Consultancy/Agency is currently looking for a Digital Account Director to lead a handful of clients out of Melbourne, mainly across Paid Search, Social Media & SEO services.
This is an amazing prospect to work with some very recognisable eCommerce brands!
Please note this role is not leading a team, but you may have a chance to hire a junior in the near future.
Base pay range
A$110,000.00/yr - A$130,000.00/yr
Responsibilities:
- Client Leadership: Act as the main point of contact for selected Tier 1 and 2 clients across SEO, SEM, Social and CRM, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work as an expert across all channel teams, overseeing and coordinating client deliverables, ensuring excellence in execution and communication.
- Thought Leadership: Provide strategic guidance to clients and internal teams, ensuring a forward-thinking approach to digital marketing and ecommerce.
- Account Growth & Retention: Build trust with senior client stakeholders, develop long-term relationships, and ensure account renewals are planned with a focus on growth.
- Commercial & Operational Excellence: Manage client budgets, forecasts, and contribution margins, identifying efficiencies to drive profitability.
- Channel Operations & Insights: Be hands-on within platforms such as Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics, reviewing performance data and supporting the channel teams with strategic recommendations.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of account management experience.
- Expertise in SEO, PPC, and Social Media Advertising (at least two of the three).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proven experience project managing multi-channel digital teams.
- Confident communicator with experience in pitching & presenting.
