Role Description
This is a full-time Junior Data Analyst role based in Melbourne, VIC, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The Junior Data Analyst will support the collection, cleaning, and validation of data from various internal and external sources. Each day, this role will involve performing exploratory data analysis, preparing basic statistical summaries, and assisting in building data models that support design and business decisions. The individual will create clear reports and visualizations to share insights with cross‐functional teams and stakeholders. The Junior Data Analyst will also collaborate with designers, project managers, and leadership to translate data findings into actionable recommendations that improve services and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Strong Analytical Skills and foundational experience in Data Analytics to interpret datasets and identify patterns and trends.
* Working knowledge of Statistics and Data Modeling to support basic forecasting, segmentation, and performance analysis.
* Effective Communication skills to present data insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Proficiency with spreadsheets and introductory experience with data tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau) is highly beneficial.
* Strong attention to detail, problem‐solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
* Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Interest in design, digital products, or creative services is an advantage.
