The Role
The role of the Maintenance & Reliability Superintendent is to provide a clear vision and direction to the maintenance team, this will include ensuring uptime and reliability of the Asset and associated infrastructure, engaging professionally with the client and supporting the Operations Manager in the safe operation of the facility.
This role will lead GRPS and external resources through all stage of asset maintenance including minor capital project support, new facility construction and maintenance support throughout the facility's operational life. As a Maintenance and Reliability Superintendent you will have a focus on continuous improvement and performance enablement of maintenance personnel.
Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
Develop and manage maintenance strategies, planning, scheduling and execution Oversee CMMS (Maximo), materials, and stock to maximise plant and equipment availability Ensure all maintenance meets safety standards, including JHAs, risk assessments and PTW Lead performance of maintenance across wellfield and plant, including routine and turnaround work Manage budgets, capture operational efficiencies and prioritise workload within facility schedules Collaborate with client and GRPS teams, coach staff, and support emergency response activities
Qualifications & Experience Required
Tertiary or Trade Qualification in relevant disciplineC Class Drivers LicenceMinimum of 10 years' experience in the Oil & Gas/Energy industryDemonstrated experience in operations and maintenance, managing critical maintenance activities, maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling, turnaround planning, and maintenance managementDemonstrated Project Management experience, including monitoring schedules, cost control, risk identification, and risk mitigation to enable safe operations and timely project deliveryMinimum 5 years' experience demonstrated experience in leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
