Project Manager delivers projects across capital water infrastructure including valves, hydrants, water pump stations, network renewals, water main replacements and more across the Urban Utilities Program located in central Brisbane. In addition to managing the Delivery phase of the program's renewals projects, you will collaborate with design, scheduling, cost, commissioning and maintenance teams to ensure smooth transitions and project success.

What you'll do
* Manage, coordinate and deliver a complex range of projects varying in size and scope.
* Foster a culture of innovation, proactively develop members, provide mentoring, lead by example, and demonstrate a strong commitment to the Downer Standard and Zero Harm.
* Support budget management processes and collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to optimise cost, implement improvements, and ensure accurate records, reports and forecasting.
* Support procurement processes including implementation of Procurement Management Plan, subcontractor engagement processes and supplier processes.
* Build strong relationships across design teams, clients and internal stakeholders to support optimal delivery across projects and greater partnership.

What we're looking for
* Engineering qualification with substantial experience managing civil projects on capital infrastructure.
* Project Management certification and RPEQ or willingness to obtain.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic contracting service‐oriented environment
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Developed analytical, planning/prioritisation, financial planning and budgeting skills
