Job Title: Physiotherapy Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapy Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team on a casual basis.
The casual position covers shifts across the 7 day roster period, inclusive of weekend work. There is also opportunities for providing cover for planned leave periods.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical practice and experience working in an acute hospital setting and across rehabilitation services.
About You:
You will be a registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA recognition by the Australian Physiotherapy Council. Your skills and qualifications should include:
* Experience working in an acute hospital setting and across rehabilitation services
* A demonstrated ability to provide exceptional Physiotherapy clinical services commensurate with level, and to manage a varying caseload day to day
* Demonstrated attributes of solutions focus, flexibility and resilience
* Effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to work co-operatively with professional and multi-disciplinary teams, patients and carers
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves undertaking routine clinical practice within established protocols at the Physiotherapy Department, applying increasing clinical judgement to more complex cases, and providing delegation and supervision to less experienced health practitioners.
Additional responsibilities include contributing to the development of clinical practices and participating in quality and service improvement activities.
* Undertake routine clinical practice within established clinical protocols at the Physiotherapy Department
* Apply increasing clinical judgement to more complex cases under clinical practice supervision
* Provide delegation, supervision, and support to less experienced health practitioners as appropriate
* Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures, and protocols within professional and multidisciplinary teams
* Participate in continuing professional development activities to further develop clinical practice and expertise
