5+ years of experience in DNS operations/support, with at least 2–3 years at L3 level.
Strong hands‐on experience with BIND (open‐source DNS).

* Authoritative vs Recursive DNS
* TTL, caching behavior, and query resolution flow
* TCP/IP, UDP
* Latency and routing behavior
* Linux/Unix system administration
* Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, latency, routing behavior)
Nice To Have Skills
* Anycast DNS deployments
* Exposure to other DNS software: Unbound, PowerDNS, Knot DNS
* Automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible)
* ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management experience)
Monitoring Tools
* Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix
