We currently have this rare opportunity to join an exciting part of our business as a Health and Safety Business Partner based in Goulburn, NSW, Australia. In this role you will be reporting to the HR Manager (NZ based), where you'll collaborate with our Australian leadership team and stakeholders to drive compliance and continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
It will be your responsibility to Monitor, support and drive compliance, knowledge, growing our leaders understanding & capability to effectively carry out H&S responsibilities. Stemming from your wealth of experience in the H&S sector, you'll play a pivotal role in promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring the well-being of our workforce.
This is an ideal role for a person who wants to lead the way in H&S throughout our Australian operations. It's a self-managing role, working across our various sites which will give you the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future for our business, the communities we operate in and the environment.
Your previous H&S experience combined with your insights and ideas will shape our Safety Culture transformation journey. You'll work alongside Managers, staff and the wider team to influence, educate and drive continuous improvement.

Does this sound like you?
In order to be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experience:
* Possess formal qualifications in Health and Safety or demonstrated experience in a senior health and safety role
* Be truly passionate about workplace Health and Safety
* The ability to work autonomously
* The confidence to proactively take the lead on H&S and culture boosting initiatives
* Experience to train the leaders of our business
* Have an engaging personality with the ability to relate to a wide range of people
* Ability to develop constructive and influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Strong exposure to required Workcover practices for NSW including a sound working understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and Work Health and Safety Regulation 2017
* Effective and demonstrated stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare comprehensive written documentation and reports
