**About The Opportunity**
Our Windows Division currently has an opening for an External Sales Representative based out of our Maroochydore office. Reporting directly to the Queensland Sales Manager, you will be expected to follow up on quote leads and enquiries received from retail customers, and identify, source, onboard and service current and ongoing business from new and existing residential builders.
In this varied role, a minimum of 70% of your time must be spent on the road meeting new and existing clients, measuring, promoting, quoting and providing product information, whilst being present and accessible for our customer base. The remainder of your time will be based at the Maroochydore office producing quotes, tenders, engaging in correspondence and/or researching potential new clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Account Manage and Develop Retail and Trade customers
- Exceed Sales, Margin and Quote KPI's and Targets
- Develop Product and Industry Knowledge
- Manage contacts through Sales Databases
- Preparation of Quotations, Tenders and Presentations, placement of orders
- Outstanding Customer Service Management
- Interpret technical design plans, plus assess and measure job projects, where required
- Attend, as required, out-of-hours industry events such as, but not limited to, Trade Shows, Awards Ceremonies, Sales and Industry Meetings and Promotional Events.
**About You**
This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and organised Sales Professional looking to work within the building industry, utilising a customer base with an excellent product. You will have previous sales experience - preferably within the windows or building industry. Your ability to follow up on quotes and close deals, combined with your ability to proactively find and develop new business will be key to your success in this role.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with excellent planning and communication skills
- Strong people skills with the ability to liaise with a range of people at different levels
- Excellent skills with Excel, Word, Outlook and experience with CRM platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute lead selling activities
- Ability to understand the technical product, regulatory and industry knowledge requirements
