About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced External Relations Advisor – Approval to join a leading Western Australian organisation delivering major infrastructure and port-related projects. You'll play a key role in regulatory approvals, government engagement, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring projects meet all statutory and compliance requirements from design through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end approvals processes across all project stages.
* Lead engagement with Commonwealth and State Government agencies .
* Provide strategic advice on approvals pathways, risks, and compliance frameworks .
* Coordinate inputs from consultants, legal teams, and technical specialists.
* Maintain strong relationships with regulators, partners, and key stakeholders .
* Support transparent communication and alignment across project teams.
Skills & Experience
* Strong knowledge of government approvals frameworks for major infrastructure or maritime projects.
* Proven experience in external relations, government liaison, or regulatory affairs .
* Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across multiple disciplines.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
