Second Senior Demand Forecasting Analyst – Workforce Planning Centre of Excellence, Crown Resorts.
Overview
Lead development of enterprise workforce demand forecasts across long‐term, medium‐term, short‐term and intraday horizons for Crown's integrated resorts in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. Serve as the owner of demand forecasting governance, ensuring data integrity, compliance with labour agreements, and actionable insights that improve workforce productivity, guest experience and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Build and enhance enterprise workforce demand forecasts using predictive, statistical and AI‐enabled models, ensuring accuracy, explainability and consistency across properties.
* Drive automation and data uplift, maintain a single source of truth, design dashboards and improve data pipelines to reduce manual effort and enable self‐service insights.
* Analyse key workforce demand drivers, conduct variance analysis, run scenario modelling, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for scheduling, budgeting and operational decisions.
* Partner with Operations, Finance, People & Culture and Workforce Planning teams; present insights clearly and help align workforce demand outputs with business priorities.
* Support the design and execution of enterprise workforce forecasting standards, including documentation, governance frameworks, labour compliance guardrails and consistent modelling practices across SYD/MEL/PER.
Qualifications
* Deep experience in workforce analytics, demand forecasting, operational modelling or similar analytical roles.
* Strong capability in building predictive models, analysing variance and improving forecasting methodologies.
* Experience automating data pipelines, building dashboards and improving data quality.
* Experience working in a unionised workforce planning environment and navigating Enterprise Agreements and Labour Laws.
* High proficiency in analytics tools such as SQL, Python/R, BI platforms, Alteryx, AI modelling and workforce management systems.
* Qualifications in data, analytics, mathematics, economics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
