This is a part-time Registered Nurse position in the Rockhampton region, servicing the Central Queensland area. The successful candidate will provide high-quality client-focused care in a community setting.
Job Description:
This role involves meeting with clients and their families to assess their needs and build strong connections. You will be responsible for conducting client care assessments, preparing care plans, and providing some nursing care and in-home care services as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client assessment and care planning
* Nursing care and in-home care services
* Communication and liaison with clients, families, and other stakeholders
* Maintenance of accurate records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
* RN in community nursing with current AHPRA registration
* Experience in aged care/disability/mental health in a community setting
* Understanding of Aged care & Disability standards and consumer directed care
* First Aid, current CPR, and National police check
* WWC (or willingness to obtain)
* Driver's licence and reliable car with comprehensive insurance
* High level of computer literacy
* Understanding of clinical governance and continuous improvement
