The Maintenance Technician is a multi-skilled craftsperson responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical processes used in manufacturing, as well as support equipment located in the building or on the grounds. We prohibit discrimination and harassment based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, genetics, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other protected characteristic under law.High-level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and failure diagnostics knowledge.Experience with AC/DC drives, motor controls, PLCs, and electro/mechanical devices.Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams, and use sketches for communication.Proficiency with shop tools and machinery, including welders, oxy-acetylene torches, band saws, drill presses, and hand tools.Knowledge of blade change procedures for training, documentation, and diagnostics.Ability to install and maintain equipment, motors, drives, conveyors, switches, blades, bearings, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic experience required.Knowledge of chemical process systems is a plus.Experience with 480V, 240V, 110V, DC power, and control circuits.Arc Flash experience preferred.3-4 years of plant manufacturing experience preferred.Two-year technical degree, vocational, or apprenticeship preferred.S. Diploma or GED required.Ability to work all shifts if needed.
