Your role
Manage a multidisciplinary team providing service/program delivery that aims to the reduce re-offending of juvenile offenders and enhance their functioning and/or reintegration into the community and increase community safety.
This role is committed to building a workforce that better reflects the perspectives of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities we serve.
What You’ll Do
As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:
Develop and maintain relationships with the Aboriginal community and key stakeholders to successfully deliver programs.Managing a team in service delivery and programs ensuring efficient allocation of resources and oversightOngoing performance management and development of staff and youth justice conferencing convenorsEnsuring effective interventions are in place to mitigate identified risks to community safety.Implementing change through effective decision-making at a management levelOverseeing of referrals to Youth Justice Conferencing
What We’re Looking For
Recognised tertiary qualifications (diploma or higher) in social work, welfare, psychology, criminology, education or related field or relevant experience.A current Driver’s LicenceCurrent NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
