Leading Mechanical Engineer Position
The role of Senior Mechanical Engineer requires a highly experienced professional to lead the design, analysis, and delivery of mechanical systems for tailings storage facilities (TSFs), slurry pipelines, and mine infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include leading mechanical design for tailings pipelines, pump stations, and slurry transfer systems, as well as performing hydraulic calculations, stress analysis, and support planning for process piping.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in piping systems, pressure vessels, and hydraulic design, with a strong background in EPC project execution across mining, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement mechanical designs for TSFs, pipelines, and mine infrastructure projects
* Perform technical calculations and analyses for pipeline design and operation
* Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project needs
Qualifications, Skills & Desired Experience
* Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* At least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on mining and tailings infrastructure
* Strong knowledge of piping systems, pressure vessels, and hydraulic design
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
