About the Role:

Canberra Health Services are looking for two experienced and motivated individuals, qualified as either a Social Worker, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Counsellor to join the Police and Court Diversion Services team.
In this position, you will be performing comprehensive clinical assessments and providing therapeutic interventions with people seeking/ receiving treatment and care through the Alcohol and Drug Services (ADS) department. You will be responsible for communicating with nominated support networks and other stakeholders to address identified psychosocial needs, treatment and care planning for people seeking and receiving care through ADS. In this position, you will be working within a multi-disciplinary team and with other relevant services within government and non-government sectors, at an individual and systems level to ensure a streamlined service delivery, supporting positive individual outcomes.
As an ADS team member, you will be required and supported to undertake professional development, engage in clinical supervision, participate in quality improvement and service development initiatives and contribute to multidisciplinary team processes.
