Employment Type: 1 x Full-time, Temporary 6-month & 1 x Full-time, Temporary 10-month contract with possibility of extension and/ or permanency.
Classification: Health Professional Officer Level 2/ Psychologist Level 2 (PN 70746, 68646)
Note: This role will be filled at either Health Professional Level 2 or Psychologist Level P2 depending on qualifications and experience, in line with the Enterprise Agreement.
Salary for HPO2: $91,026 – $108,691 (Plus 12.5%25 Super)
Salary for P2: $91,026 – $117,896 (Plus 12.5%25 Super)
Location: Canberra Health Services, ACT
Section: Police and Court Diversion Services, Alcohol and Drug Services

About the Role:

Canberra Health Services are looking for two experienced and motivated individuals, qualified as either a Social Worker, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Counsellor to join the Police and Court Diversion Services team.

In this position, you will be performing comprehensive clinical assessments and providing therapeutic interventions with people seeking/ receiving treatment and care through the Alcohol and Drug Services (ADS) department. You will be responsible for communicating with nominated support networks and other stakeholders to address identified psychosocial needs, treatment and care planning for people seeking and receiving care through ADS. In this position, you will be working within a multi-disciplinary team and with other relevant services within government and non-government sectors, at an individual and systems level to ensure a streamlined service delivery, supporting positive individual outcomes.

As an ADS team member, you will be required and supported to undertake professional development, engage in clinical supervision, participate in quality improvement and service development initiatives and contribute to multidisciplinary team processes.

Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
