The role involves providing senior clinical leadership within the Social Work service, including optimizing patient/client care delivery and supporting the mentoring and development of staff working in grief, bereavement, and end-of-life care. Supervision and guidance to Level 1/2 staff, students, allied health assistants, and others may be required.

Ideal Candidate
* Must hold a Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Social Work that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), with experience at Level 2 or higher. Current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
* Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skills, and recent experience in inpatient and/or community social work, including end-of-life and palliative care, grief, and loss counseling with individuals and carers.
* Ability to initiate, lead, complete, and evaluate quality improvement initiatives and research focused on patient/client outcomes.
* Experience in providing clinical supervision, mentoring, and staff development.
