Defence Systems Engineer
Job Description
The role of the Defence Systems Engineer is to help shape next-generation capability by applying model-based engineering (MBE) to design, develop and integrate complex systems. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with specialists, partner organisations and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that strengthen Australia's defence and national security outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Demonstrated experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements, design, integration and verification.
* Knowledge of MBSE approaches and tools such as MagicDraw, Rhapsody, Cameo or similar.
* Experience working on complex systems, ideally within defence or high-technology environments.
* Strong analytical, modelling and documentation skills.
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor or support junior engineers.
