Job Description
* Salary: £60,000 + £550 Car Allowance P/M + Annual Bonus up to 20%
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
* Location: Hybrid working with travel to Southampton

What you'll be doing:
* Working on energy performance upgrade projects
* Taking responsibility for the commercial control of contracts, bids, and processes
* Identifying risks, liabilities, and commitments in contractual agreements and ensuring the business understands potential impacts
* Protecting the commercial interests of the delivery team at all times
* Leading, mentoring, and managing staff within the team
* Estimating and implementing effective cost‑control mechanisms
* Managing sub‑contract processes: enquiry, draft, measurement, valuation, and payment
* Leading project procurement
* Providing timely, high‑quality management reports to the Project Manager and senior leadership
* Offering commercial support to other business departments
* Handling day‑to‑day commercial and sub‑contract administration issues
What we're looking for:
* Proven track record in stakeholder management and problem solving
* Relevant HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification
* Thorough knowledge of contract forms, including NEC, JCT, IChemE
* Experience working for a main contractor within the industrial, water, and/or energy sectors
* Knowledge and experience of operations and maintenance contracting (beneficial)
* Multi‑discipline experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry (advantageous)
