Role Description
The Business Development Manager will lead a team to deliver exceptional resourcing solutions to clients and candidates, focusing on both existing and new business opportunities. The role requires excellent communication, resource management, resilience, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Autonomous work and leadership capabilities are essential, along with the ability to identify new opportunities and drive change.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Lead and manage the delivery team to meet performance, quality, cultural, and compliance standards.
2. Provide innovative recruitment solutions in the competitive oil and gas industry.
3. Deliver tailored recruitment services to global, regional, and new clients.
4. Set an example through hard work and comprehensive business understanding.
5. Manage active recruitment requirements, including candidate search, client liaison, and negotiations.
6. Develop and execute recruitment plans to generate new opportunities.
7. Oversee team performance through performance management schemes.
8. Mentor and coach team members.
9. Report on recruitment activities and pipelines to management.
10. Manage development programs and conduct appraisals.
11. Analyze performance data to improve processes and ROI.
12. Set and review KPIs to ensure targets are achieved.
13. Recruit, select, and develop team members.
14. Increase client penetration and revenue.
15. Collaborate with the Diversification Manager to support diversification strategies.
16. Maintain accurate data in Bullhorn, including placement references.
17. Lead bid CV collation and coordinate with senior consultants.
18. Communicate regularly with regional and country managers regarding forecasts and pipelines.
19. Ensure compliance with data requests from HQ.
