The role
Location: Wentworth Falls, NSW
Pay rate: $30.66 per hour + superannuation
Positions available: Permanent Part-time and Casual. Not‐for‐profit employer.
As a member of the Catering team at Bodington, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.
About the Role
- Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required.
- Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit.
- Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- A heart and passion for providing high‐quality care to the elderly.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential.
- Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
- Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
- Able to establish and maintain qualified and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
- NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
